Scientific studies show that coaching is a great investment. It increases life satisfaction and professional success and improves relationships.

The Journal of Positive Psychology found that coaching has positive effects on the outcomes of performance/skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes and goal-directed self-regulation.

Also, ongoing coaching is more effective than a one-time intervention. A study showed that while group training with managers increased their productivity by 22%, including a one-on-one, eight-week coaching session for the managers pushed up productivity by 88%.

Justin has very effective strategies… In one set of exercises, he took on the persona of my client and I had to sell my pitch to him. An old saying says there is no I in team. Working together with others can help us achieve goals beyond those possible by individual efforts. Being a team player is a skill that can help us in personal hobbies, work, and more.

Being seen as a team player can help us earn the respect and trust of those we work with. This in turn can help boost the effectiveness of our team and help us achieve our goals quicker.

Sometimes becoming a better team player can be difficult. It can even require us to seek the help of a skilled third-party who can offer insight and tips for our unique situation.

Coaches who understand how team activities work can be valuable for helping us build up a reputation as team players. A team-based mentality can be hard to establish alone, but coaches provide valuable strategies for helping out in this area.
