WHY IS COACHING A GOOD IDEA?

Scientific studies show that coaching is a great investment. It increases life satisfaction and professional success and improves relationships.

The Journal of Positive Psychology found that coaching has positive effects on the outcomes of performance/skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes and goal-directed self-regulation.

Also, ongoing coaching is more effective than a one-time intervention. A study showed that while group training with managers increased their productivity by 22%, including a one-on-one, eight-week coaching session for the managers pushed up productivity by 88%.

I met MagdaIena when she provided one-to –one coaching on a management programme. I really enjoyed working with her and found the process beneficial in helping me clarify my then situation at work. Magdalena has a very creative approach which allowed me to explore the situation fully, she was very supportive and insightful. I would highly recommend her as a coach I met Magdalena through a coaching scheme that was developed by my employer. I had been struggling with a number of issues at work, both in terms of my team and senior management issues. I've always been a confident and successful individual, but I had arrived at a place where I felt pretty lost in terms of how I felt about my job, my abilities, and the approach I needed to take. As soon as I met Magdalena I knew that she was going to provide me with an engaging, challenging, fun, and at times emotional exploration of the issues I was facing. Magdalena has enormous energy. Her questions really explored my situation and the way I felt about it. She really works hard to take you back to core beliefs and experiences

Allison Boyce Talent Acquisition Adviser ? Hands-on Recruiter ? Company Evangelist ? August 24, 2010, Allison worked with Lynne in different groups Sometimes when I count my blessings, I count meeting Lynne twice. I am deep into the next chapter after Deloitte. I am grateful to have Lynne to look back on as a gift and an angel while I was there. Lynne worked with me on all of the executive assessments that were available to me and how to develop a working plan to execute what I needed to do next. More importantly Lynne let me think non-linearly about what I needed to do professionally which ultimately affected me deeply. I am looking forward to working with her as an Executive Coach again. She is a treasure.
It was a pleasure to work with Mitch. Mitch has the unique ability to identify key aspects of my personality and give me great personalized ideas to deal with some of my most challenging situations. For many of my meetings I felt I may have been too busy to attend and considered cancelling. I never did and each and every meeting was fruitful and fulfilling. I never regretted any time I spent with Mitch. I would recommend Mitch to everyone.

Jodi was a great support to me. She helped me to build a plan for my future. I learned about the kind of work I want to do and we laid out steps for me to make it happen. She gave me coaching on everything, my relationship, my situation at work, planning for my future, budgeting, and communication. Anybody out there who is feeling lost and overwhelmed, take the first step and call Jodi. We met on Zoom but I always felt like we were in the same room and that was key. I am moving to start my new dream job, something I never thought would happen, but thanks to video conferencing I can still work with Jodi. It really helps to have her by my side.
Karah has an extensive knowledge of management and leadership principles. As a team leader she conveys practical and applicable information that I have been able to put into use in my role as a leader. Her interpretation of management and leadership issues is always insightful and her ideas are thought provoking. She is very adept at connecting to each individual she works with on a personal level.

Having had the opportunity to work with many of the world's leading authors and subject matter experts over the past decade, I can truly say that Jim Cathcart is one of the most genuine, most inspiring, and most helpful people I have had the privilege and benefit of being associated with. We receive such incredible feedback about Jim's content on our site and I am so honored and proud to work with him, and more importantly know that I will continue to learn and grow because of him.

Executive Coaching

Becoming an executive is no easy task. Many people work and strive for years in their quest to land an executive position. Having this type of position offers many benefits. It presents a way for a worker to show off their managerial and corporate skills, helping entire organizations grow and thrive. These positions also usually provide higher pay and better benefits than jobs below the executive level.

While executive positions are lucrative, landing them is not easy. Many people turn to executive coaching to help them achieve this kind of lucrative job.

Even if a person has a great degree, plenty of work experience, and an impressive portfolio, there is usually fierce competition on the executive level. Coaches can help job-seekers understand what companies look for in executives, and how to improve their chances of getting the position they’re looking for.

Getting an executive position can sometimes mean gaining new experience, further education, or even working with a new company entirely. Coaches know that every person’s situation is unique, and their individualized approach to helping prospective-executives ensures each individual gets the right solutions for their need.

Being an executive can be rewarding, fulfilling, and lucrative. Working with a coach can improve anyone’s chances of achieving this position.
