WHY IS COACHING A GOOD IDEA?

Scientific studies show that coaching is a great investment. It increases life satisfaction and professional success and improves relationships.

The Journal of Positive Psychology found that coaching has positive effects on the outcomes of performance/skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes and goal-directed self-regulation.

Also, ongoing coaching is more effective than a one-time intervention. A study showed that while group training with managers increased their productivity by 22%, including a one-on-one, eight-week coaching session for the managers pushed up productivity by 88%.

Evelyn provided a number of self help techniques and tools by using time lines of my life from the earliest times that I could remember. By working one-on-one with Evelyn and following her advice with her life skills techniques, and listening to tapes she sent me I was able to become one with myself. The focus was to use the techniques that helped me understand what happened to me and to actually see and feel the pain that I was suffering from. I had a 6 hour back surgery scheduled. ?"I have been struggling for many years with up and down energy. I wasn't aware that I had developed adrenal fatigue as a result of complex PTSD.
