Scientific studies show that coaching is a great investment. It increases life satisfaction and professional success and improves relationships.

The Journal of Positive Psychology found that coaching has positive effects on the outcomes of performance/skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes and goal-directed self-regulation.

Also, ongoing coaching is more effective than a one-time intervention. A study showed that while group training with managers increased their productivity by 22%, including a one-on-one, eight-week coaching session for the managers pushed up productivity by 88%.

When Derek and I started working together, I was on a streak of sleepless nights like I had never experienced before, although I'd always been a light sleeper, and pretty much couldn't remember ever really sleeping all the way through a night. But I was so exhausted from my sleeplessness, I was desperate for help, and as luck would have it (or the universe would have it), I was introduced to my sleep coach. What's funny is most of the work we did, had really nothing to do with sleep, which might seem strange to read, but will make sense once you begin the work. Derek really just helped me dive inward, to understand the root causes of my issues with sleep, and as we dig, we inevitably find more than we could have imagined. His techniques and strategies are well thought out, and work fantastically. Working with him not only has me sleeping well, but my perspective on many important aspects of my life have changed for the better. If someone were to look at me today, they would have no idea that a year ago I was in a really bad place and had been for a number of years. The thoughts running through my head were dark. Sleeping Better

Everyone needs rest, and this is never more apparent than when we experience problems sleeping. Many people suffer from insomnia, finding themselves going days or even weeks without being able to sleep. Other people experience less severe (but still problematic) sleep habits. These can include waking up often, sleeping in short intervals, and irregular sleep schedules.
