About Coach Fausta Luchini

Do you want to get in touch with your inner self, align with your own values, and connect with your deep wisdom to build a life that lets you shine? I'm a holistic life coach, a catalyst, and a visionary. I've spent my life working with a diverse range of people in a multitude of difficult circumstances, and I love bringing the insight and wisdom I've gained to my role as coach. I've learned that we really do have our own answers within ourselves, but sometimes we need support to be able to access them. I help you connect with your own deep wisdom to build a life that lets you shine. Maybe you're always the strong one, taking care of everyone else, and begin to feel overwhelmed, to wonder who's taking care of you. Maybe you need to make changes in your life and aren't sure what direction to take. Or maybe you know what direction you want to take, but can't seem to follow through. Whatever the challenge, working collaboratively, I'll help you reconnect to yourself, realign with your values and plan your next steps. I live in Savannah, Ga, in a multi-generational household, where I enjoy the warm weather and being close to the ocean. When I'm not coaching, or blogging about it, I enjoy playing with my grandchildren, exploring new restaurants with my daughter, traveling with my life partner, Dennis, and walking on the beach by myself.

Specialties

I became a Whole Person Certified Coach in December, 2018, but I bring over 20 years experience as a therapist. I've coached primarily new entrepreneurs focused on overcoming barriers, both emotional and practical, to building a successful business. As a therapist, I've worked primarily with people who experienced lots of trauma in childhood, or Adverse Childhood Events, as we call that now. I used cognitive behavioral therapy to help people recognize that the stories they tell themselves may not be the whole story, and I use dialectical behavior therapy techniques to teach people how to handle difficult emotions and deal more effectively with difficult people. My experience as a therapist has given me a deep understanding of people and the factors that drive personal growth and development. I learned ways to help my clients work through the lingering impact of that trauma on their lives and my clients helped me understand the pathways to healing. I'm deeply grateful for the people who shared their experiences with me, and awed at the strength and resilience of my clients. While in Community Mental Health Centers, I also served as clinic director, supervising up to three supervisors with multi-disciplinary teams of 8-10 clinical staff; overseeing training, treatment planning, and budgeting, as well as creating new programs. I learned to appreciate the challenges of managing a complex system and how to develop strategies for success. Over the last few years, I've worked as the Training Coordinator for a national non-profit agency which offers training on Women's Reproductive Health. I provided support for training quality, offered webinars, conducted observations, and provided feedback and coaching to enhance effectiveness of training for staff working in a seven state region. My experience in this role led me to seek certification as a Whole Person Coach. This rich experience from therapist and manager in Community Mental Health, to private practice to Training Coordinator has led me here. As a holistic coach, I offer a process for you to reconnect with yourself, and the opportunity to find the tools you need to sustain that connection. I creates a space for you to explore how to build a life that lets you shine.

Who are you? What matters to you? Reconnecting with your inner self starts with a look at where you are right now. In this phase of coaching, we’ll use tools like The Web of Life, Values Clarification, and Archetypes, to help you recognize what values and aspects of yourself are showing up in the world. We’ll use Vision to Action to shine some light on your intentions for the future and begin to create a map of how to get there. Session can be taken in 30, 60, or 90 minute increments

Now we can explore a little deeper – reconnect with who you truly are. Is your life aligned with your values? Do the archetypes you embody reflect the person you truly are? We’re not going to change you, not help you be a “better” person. Masaru Emotto, the Japanese author who wrote Secret Life of Water, says: “If you feel lost, disappointed, hesitant, or weak, return to yourself, to who you are, here and now and when you get there, you will discover yourself, like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong.” This part of the coaching process is about helping you more fully engage your true self in your work and your life. How do you want to show up? Let’s explore what that would look like. (Sessions can be taken in 30, 60, or 90 minute increments)

Now that you’ve reconnected with your inner self, it is necessary, as Amy Ippolitii says in The Art and Business of Teaching Yoga, to: “Carve out and claim the time to care for yourself and kindle your own fire.” You need ways to maintain that connection, and ways to grow – mentally, emotionally and maybe spiritually. There are countless ways to do that – books and videos, workshops, and all kinds of strategies, techniques, and programs. The challenge is to discerning what’s right for you. What will add value to your life and be sustainable? (Sessions can be taken in 30, 60, or 90 minute increments)

“There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.” ― Marianne Williamson How you are showing up in your life now? Are you implementing the new tools, strategies or approaches into your work, as well as with family and friends? Are you better able to balance work and home? Better able to sleep at night? Able to offer more to the people you car3e about and still honor your own needs? Are you living a life that lets you shine? Let’s make sure you have the support you need to put you firmly on the path. (Sessions can be taken in 30, 60, or 90 minutes increments)
