Scientific studies show that coaching is a great investment. It increases life satisfaction and professional success and improves relationships.

The Journal of Positive Psychology found that coaching has positive effects on the outcomes of performance/skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes and goal-directed self-regulation.

Also, ongoing coaching is more effective than a one-time intervention. A study showed that while group training with managers increased their productivity by 22%, including a one-on-one, eight-week coaching session for the managers pushed up productivity by 88%.

Fenella helped me at a very low point in my life. I'm normally a very positive person, but during a period of change & transition that I was resistant to, I found myself spiralling into a more negative zone that was stopping me from carrying out the process. Fenella gave me simple, achievable strategies/lists for me to focus on. This really helped me to find my positive attitude again and put things in perspective. I love her daily f. B. Tips that she posts as this reenforces all the positive thinking & wellbeing strategies and which is helping to keep me on track. Life is full of ups & downs and sometimes you can get carried away with the downhill but you don't have to.

I have never done anything like this before so I was skeptical of receiving coaching sessions, but I can testify that all the care was high quality. Chantel truly cares about my feelings and my situation. This encouraged trust between us, and our sessions positively impacted my mental health. Chantel maximized my success and helped me overcome my emotional trauma. If you are looking for someone who is familiar with depression, family problems, ADHD, and/or childhood trauma, you have found your coach. Thank you, Chantel!

I suffered from extreme anxiety that would overtake me while driving to work, and last for most of the day. Jan taught me several techniques that enabled me to manage this anxiety in the morning, and alleviate the stress during the day. She also helped me build relaxing moments into my daily life, on an ongoing basis throughout my day. Now I can sit at my desk, or in a meeting and instead of feeling my blood pressure rise, I can breathe deeply and run a few of the protocols in my head and feel ready to be part of the team. Jan helped me keep my job and keep my mind!!!!

Last year, when I was battling cancer and at my lowest physically and emotionally, Vance Larson pulled me through. He gave me a different way to see what I was going through. His wisdom was what got me through the worst time of my life. I could not have fought cancer without him. His help was invaluable. He is such a caring and giving man with such amazing insight and integrity.

Dealing with hard emotions

Whether it's feelings of shame, guilt, or any other unpleasant overwhelming emotions, feeling them can be extremely challenging. In fact, some people have a hard time performing at their peak level because of old difficult emotions that are haunting them and appearing when least expected.

Part of the coaching process involves discovering why you are feeling these emotions. If they are coming up, it means that there is something that you need to experience, and usually the emotions won't stop until they are fully acknowledged and experienced.

The bad news is that there probably is a reason why you have avoided feeling these emotions until now. It's hard to feel them. The good news is that once felt fully, these emotions can teach you valuable insights about yourself. Also, once felt fully, there is a tremendous amount of energy that can be released, and become available to you to utilize.

A quialified coach knows what is the right amount of exposure to these feelings, so you can experience them fully without feeling overwhelmed. A coach will provide a safe space for you to explore whatever it is that you need to feel in a way that is productive rather than disruptive. They can also teach you how to use these emotions to your advantage instead of letting them control you and disrupt your life.

What I most appreciated about working with Lynn Saboe was her ability to listen and effectively challenge me to develop executable plans that fit my style and experience, and to implement these plans in just two months. Thanks to her support, the quality and speed of my transition was substantially enhanced.

Zsofia Juhasz is an accomplished coach, who uses powerful questions to help her client move forward. She is empathetic without being soft, she is strong without being tough. She is also adept at listening for changes in energy levels, and celebrating when she hears a positive change. Adept at using imagery to help reframe perspectives, and visualisation to create positive goals, she skillfully guides her client to the end goal. I highly recommend her services.
