Scientific studies show that coaching is a great investment. It increases life satisfaction and professional success and improves relationships.

The Journal of Positive Psychology found that coaching has positive effects on the outcomes of performance/skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes and goal-directed self-regulation.

Also, ongoing coaching is more effective than a one-time intervention. A study showed that while group training with managers increased their productivity by 22%, including a one-on-one, eight-week coaching session for the managers pushed up productivity by 88%.

I've wanted to post this for a while, and I figure in the spirit of Thanksgiving, this would be the perfect time. Many of us are very like minded in that we wanted something more for ourselves. Jared's help has brought us together to make the best out of our personal journey. When I started off 2017 I thought this was going to be a [bad] year. Improving Health and Work-Life Balance

Good health is the foundation for a productive life both personally and professionally. However, a person’s commitment to their work can often leave them with little time for anything else.

There’s great pride in working hard, but sometimes dedicated professionals find their commitments are somewhat overwhelming. A skewed work-life balance can bog a person down, and even have a negative impact on their health.

Improving health and work-life balance can be a complex task, especially since everyone’s situation is different. A person’s health and the time they spend on the clock as opposed to enjoying life can be assessed by professional coaches. These coaches can then help discover ways to improve the situation.

Sometimes it may be determined that a work schedule is simply unsustainable, and a person may need to make changes. The work-life balance may also lead to certain health concerns, which can be addressed by finding the root cause and moving forward accordingly.

Coaches may advise individuals to alter their work schedule or pursue certain treatments to help them improve their health. No matter how bad the issue has become, coaches can help people create plans to restore their health and create a work-life balance that doesn’t put them in harm’s way. Better health and a better work-life balance means more energy and a better attitude. These things are valuable whether a person is at work or at home.
