I really enjoy my weekly sessions with Jennifer. When I first started working with her, I was feeling frustrated by a lack of productivity and organization in my day, as well as a general sense of being overwhelmed by stress. I unloaded all of it onto her during our first call, and she took the trouble to wade through it and figure out what things needed to be addressed first. Bit by bit, she has helped me set small, actionable goals, getting into a routine that is working for me. It doesn't seem like much in the moment, but looking back over the past five weeks or so, I see that I am now doing things that I have struggled to do for years—from waking up earlier and getting more done in my day, and putting my phone away before bed, to feeling good about getting an hour's worth of chores done, and generally having a better handle on things and having more of a social life, instead of procrastinating because a task seems too huge. It's a big change for me. She's encouraged me to be more conscious about what feels right for me in my environment, and subsequently I have made changes to my routine to support that. She has helped me work through whatever setbacks I might have had during the week and helped me figure out what I can be learning from it and how to improve for the next time. While friends and family are generally supportive, the benefit of having a coach like Jennifer on your team is that she can provide an objective perspective as well as trained insights, which I really appreciate. After my first session with Jill I felt as though a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. She was kind and understanding, but really kicked my butt into gear with regards to what I wanted to achieve. Her step-by-step process helped me identify what I needed to do in order to accomplish my goals. What I liked about her was the fact that she had a realist approach to everything - she knew I was a busy, working professional with a social life, and didn't expect me to drastically change everything I do.
