WHY IS COACHING A GOOD IDEA?

Scientific studies show that coaching is a great investment. It increases life satisfaction and professional success and improves relationships.

The Journal of Positive Psychology found that coaching has positive effects on the outcomes of performance/skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes and goal-directed self-regulation.

Also, ongoing coaching is more effective than a one-time intervention. A study showed that while group training with managers increased their productivity by 22%, including a one-on-one, eight-week coaching session for the managers pushed up productivity by 88%.

Working with Adam was one of the best decisions ever. He worked to help me with cope with anxiety, stress, mental blocks, fear of the future, etc, and I became much more confident, happy, and less anxious during our work together. He helped me gain clarity for setting my goals and setting up my objectives to accomplish, which helped me be more productive without really any more physical effort. We worked to map out how to structure my time, deal with conflict, and handle multi-tasking through various efficient ways. I couldn't ask for more, Adam is amazing!

"My challenge before my coaching sessions was managing stress related to many changes at work and my son's addiction. While working with Morgan, I mentioned that I had a history of daily headaches. Implementing tools Morgan suggested, I discovered the underlying cause and made some changes and the headache disappeared. My breakthrough came when I discovered if I live in the present, I was able to feel peace instead of stress and worry, which I felt when I thought about the future. ? I feel better since our sessions and feel less stressed now and have more days of feeling at peace. I found that having someone's undivided attention when I talked about my concerns and having Morgan's support in helping me solve my challenges was most helpful. I didn't like to talk about my challenges as I felt it sounded like I was complaining, but I've learned that I am sharing my challenges and not being a burden on anyone when I do that. I also learned that we all need support from friends, family, or coaches to achieve our goals. I also gained courage to walk into an Al-anon meeting, which will give me the support I need to deal with my son's addiction and to learn how to live my own life. I just had a call that my son is going to re-enter detox after being home only 2 months from his last. Instead of panic, I was able to calmly say this is good news. He hasn't given up!"

“I worked with Amelia as a Dharma and yoga client during my pregnancy. In both cases, Amelia was attentive and responsive to my questions, anxieties, and goals. She helped me find confidence in my decisions and aspirations. After my pregnancy, Amelia was my postpartum doula. Her support during my first month postpartum were INVALUABLE. I cannot say enough about the emotional support Amelia gave me during my recovery. She also taught me ways to incorporate self-care as a new mother, which included healthy eating, meditation, and yoga.”

My sessions with Amit made me realize there are ways of coping and dealing with the stress and strains of work and business. His techniques and guidance helped me focus on what was important to develop a clear plan to action. Without his help I would not have moved forward with my goals and closer to financial freedom

I really didn't know what to expect from a life coach but I figured it was meant to be when Aubrey came along during a time that I was feeling my worst. I was stressed, sluggish, sleep-deprived, unhealthy and just not handling any of those things well at all! Aubrey has incredible insight and is somehow able to relate to everything you discuss with her. My conversations with her always had a casual and comfortable feel and my ACTION plan for the week was always do-able and effective. Aubrey taught me that the smallest changes have the largest effects. I'm much happier and healthier now. Life still happens but, thanks to Aubrey, I now have tools to help handle it.

Stress Reduction Coaching

Sometimes the pressures of life can feel overwhelming, leaving people from all walks of life confused about where to turn. Stress can occur because of many factors, and is often the product of several circumstances working together. Dietary choices, sleep habits, and even genetic conditions can all cause a person to be more prone to developing high levels of stress.

External factors concerning a person’s environment can also play a major role in stress. Difficult jobs, financial struggles, and personal issues are all common causes of stress. For those who are ready to take control of this issue, stress reduction coaching can be a great option.

Dealing with stress alone can be hard, as the condition impedes our ability to think and reason clearly. Some people may overlook solutions that are right in front of them, while others may simply try to cope with their condition since there are no apparent answers.

Coaches understand the way stress can impact a person’s life, outlook, and mood. Dealing with stress sometimes involves changing the factors that make us nervous, while other times, the solution lies in learning techniques to manage life’s pressures more effectively.

Stress can diminish a person’s quality of life and even lead to physical illness. Getting help from a coach allows anyone to take back their life even in high-stress situations.
