At the time I decided to work with Coach Creatress I was feeling overwhelmed with the responsibility of caring for my elderly grandparents, working as a full-time elementary teacher, enrolled Graduate school full-time, caring for my 6 year old son, while in desperate need of some Self-TLC. I really enjoy my weekly sessions with Jennifer. When I first started working with her, I was feeling frustrated by a lack of productivity and organization in my day, as well as a general sense of being overwhelmed by stress. I unloaded all of it onto her during our first call, and she took the trouble to wade through it and figure out what things needed to be addressed first. Bit by bit, she has helped me set small, actionable goals, getting into a routine that is working for me. It doesn't seem like much in the moment, but looking back over the past five weeks or so, I see that I am now doing things that I have struggled to do for years—from waking up earlier and getting more done in my day, and putting my phone away before bed, to feeling good about getting an hour's worth of chores done, and generally having a better handle on things and having more of a social life, instead of procrastinating because a task seems too huge. It's a big change for me. She's encouraged me to be more conscious about what feels right for me in my environment, and subsequently I have made changes to my routine to support that. She has helped me work through whatever setbacks I might have had during the week and helped me figure out what I can be learning from it and how to improve for the next time. I feel relaxed because he understands the situation... and after telling him, I don't have the fear. Yes, fear is not real...! Yeah, he is disappointed with that guy, but not with me, he is actually proud of me for telling him.
