WHY IS COACHING A GOOD IDEA?

Scientific studies show that coaching is a great investment. It increases life satisfaction and professional success and improves relationships.

The Journal of Positive Psychology found that coaching has positive effects on the outcomes of performance/skills, well-being, coping, work attitudes and goal-directed self-regulation.

Also, ongoing coaching is more effective than a one-time intervention. A study showed that while group training with managers increased their productivity by 22%, including a one-on-one, eight-week coaching session for the managers pushed up productivity by 88%.

I have seen Eric, a handful of times and each time we met I left feeling like I have learned something new that I can utilize in my dad to day life. He used tools such as visualization and other techniques that I still use on a daily basis to control my emotions and to help center myself. Before I met Eric I had seen multiple counselors and self-help professionals, none of them gave me tools that Eric did to help me on a day to day basis. I had issues surrounding anger, resentment and fear and meeting with Eric better helped me to understand these issues and we were able to develop tools to overcome these issues. Eric is genuine in his approach and is was willing to work with me and my individual concerns and develop a plan that was geared toward my success. I recommend Eric to anyone seeking answers about personal development or wanting tools to deal with the daily issues life presents.

Natasha’s mindfulness coaching completely changed my stress levels and particularly my inability to sleep properly in the last 10 years! I went to her after a recommendation from my sleep and fatigue specialist as she thought I needed a holistic approach to my constant rushing about and lack of concentration. Natasha saw the root of the problem which was a constantly busy mind and as she is an academic like me she could understand what I was going through. Her approach is very much “in the moment” as she sees where I am on the day and customises her mediations and teachings based on what I really need on that specific day, “in the here and now” as she says. We started with weekly meetings and I now I only skype her once a month as I think I have learned my lesson and I have developed my own strategies to tackle stress, concentrate and be happier overall!

I will always consider meeting and working with Kelly one of the best investments EVER in my life. In just a few short months I have seriously done a 180(so much that my friend has noticed a big change within me). When I met her I was filled with anxiety, negative thinking and constantly repeating the same mistakes over and over. I was at the end of my rope. Kelly helped me to recognize these patterns and stop them in their tracks! It's not an overnight fix and I will have to be diligent in maintaining a positive, balanced thought life, but she has given me the tools that I need to succeed and it will become easier over time. I could not thank her enough for what she has done for me and, in turn, my relationships with those around me. She truly is a blessing. Thank you, Kelly!

“I worked with Amelia as a Dharma and yoga client during my pregnancy. In both cases, Amelia was attentive and responsive to my questions, anxieties, and goals. She helped me find confidence in my decisions and aspirations. After my pregnancy, Amelia was my postpartum doula. Her support during my first month postpartum were INVALUABLE. I cannot say enough about the emotional support Amelia gave me during my recovery. She also taught me ways to incorporate self-care as a new mother, which included healthy eating, meditation, and yoga.”

I've changed coaches 3 times so far beginning last year. This year by chance, I found Rosita and she has helped me in so many ways in such a short time. My girlfriend and I have tried couple's counseling as well as relationship life coaches. None of which we were satisfied with. Rosita is able to look at a number of perspectives and understand where each person is coming from. She was able to make me understand my partner all while teaching me how to maintain my voice for the things I wanted to see in my relationship and vice versa for my partner. She taught me that compromise is not giving in and that it is ok to not be in control of every single thing in my relationship. She taught my partner how to be patient with me and how to give the things she wants to receive. We are happier now than we have been in a long time. She is our life coach, but her style is so laid back, relaxing, and understanding that she feels like a friend.

"At the time we began I was struggling with acute stress from making some major life transitions. I found that Morgan really helped me get focused, grounded and task oriented. She helped me prioritize what was most important to me and helped with accountability as well. I got “grounded” again. Additionally, I started accomplishing prioritized tasks in a coherent, consecutive manner. Of significance, I felt empowered to raise my rates for my coaching practice. Right now I am feeling great. I feel excited, motivated and inspired. ?One of the single best things Morgan said to me early on in our coaching was this: "Instead of focusing on what it takes to get there...focus on how you will feel when you do". This has stuck with me in a profound way."

Stress Reduction Coaching

Sometimes the pressures of life can feel overwhelming, leaving people from all walks of life confused about where to turn. Stress can occur because of many factors, and is often the product of several circumstances working together. Dietary choices, sleep habits, and even genetic conditions can all cause a person to be more prone to developing high levels of stress.

External factors concerning a person’s environment can also play a major role in stress. Difficult jobs, financial struggles, and personal issues are all common causes of stress. For those who are ready to take control of this issue, stress reduction coaching can be a great option.

Dealing with stress alone can be hard, as the condition impedes our ability to think and reason clearly. Some people may overlook solutions that are right in front of them, while others may simply try to cope with their condition since there are no apparent answers.

Coaches understand the way stress can impact a person’s life, outlook, and mood. Dealing with stress sometimes involves changing the factors that make us nervous, while other times, the solution lies in learning techniques to manage life’s pressures more effectively.

Stress can diminish a person’s quality of life and even lead to physical illness. Getting help from a coach allows anyone to take back their life even in high-stress situations.

Zsofia Juhasz is an accomplished coach, who uses powerful questions to help her client move forward. She is empathetic without being soft, she is strong without being tough. She is also adept at listening for changes in energy levels, and celebrating when she hears a positive change. Adept at using imagery to help reframe perspectives, and visualisation to create positive goals, she skillfully guides her client to the end goal. I highly recommend her services.
